Publications
One of the most important functions of the SRI Alumni Association is the sharing of information about current SRI and alumni activities with the Association membership at large. The primary method used to accomplish this goal is with our Alumni Newsletter, which is published three times a year. The Steering Committee takes great pride in this publication and has received several compliments about its professionalism and quality from several other alumni associations associated with other Silicon Valley firms.
It is the responsibility of the Publications sub-committee to organize, assemble, prepare, and oversee the production of the Alumni Newsletter. In addition to including articles about specific SRI research activities and new contracts, it also contains articles of general interest, it may also contain submissions from other alumni who have taken an interesting trip, have a unique hobby, or received a special award. The Newsletter also contains information about future or past Association events, such at the Spring Fling and Annual Reunion.
In addition to the Newsletter, the Publications sub-committee also prepares and edits information for publication on the Alumni website.
