Students Visit SRI's "Dish"
Over the years, SRI has hosted student visits to its 150-foot radio reflector antenna, known as the "SRI Dish", located in the hills above Stanford University. Students learn how the dish operates and is used in research on spacecraft, the sun and solar wind, and electromagnetics. SRI hopes to inspire visiting students to become scientists and engineers.
