Adam Black
Adam Black is a research analyst in SRI International’s Center for Education Policy. He is responsible for research tasks ranging from literature reviews and qualitative field research to the analysis of quantitative survey and extant data.
Black is participating on the Evaluation of California’s Linked Learning District Initiative and a related project studying community college linked learning pathway partnerships, a study of the California Office to Reform Education’s effort to prepare teachers to implement the Common Core State Standards, and an ongoing project with the Center for the Future of Teaching and Learning.
Before joining SRI, Black was a fourth-grade teacher at an underserved elementary school in Kansas City, Missouri, and a member of Teach for America.
Black holds a B.A. with honors in economics and a minor in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
