Dalton Pont

Dalton Pont is director of strategic systems at SRI International. In this role, he is responsible for strategic planning, technology roadmaps, investments, and business results across multiple corporate strategic thrusts. His work includes development of strategic systems and initiatives that draw on and integrate R&D from across multiple divisions at SRI. He is also responsible for providing strategic competitive analysis and building strategic partnerships that bridge across multiple client markets and opportunities.

Pont has more than 30 years of experience developing and operating a broad range of advanced technology including video/vision, IT, broadcast, communication, launch, and satellite systems. Before joining SRI, he held a wide range of systems engineering and management positions at Lockheed Martin after serving as an operations engineer with the U.S. Air Force, both on active duty and as a reserve.

Pont received a M.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado. He has an MBA with an emphasis in strategic planning from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. degree in structural engineering from the Iowa State University.
