Helen Parish

Helen Parish is senior director of the Pharmaceutical Sciences group in SRI Biosciences. In this role, she heads various government and commercial studies, including a current NIAID contract to develop and manufacture dosage formulations for new and existing anti-HIV or AIDS-related anti-infectives and microbicides. The goal of the program is to improve the therapeutic effects of lifesaving drugs.

In her tenure at SRI, Parish has served as director of the Quality Control Unit, the Industrial Hygiene Chemistry Department and the Analytical Chemistry Department. She is an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, and the American Chemical Society. She is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.

Parish received a master’s degree in civil engineering/environmental engineering and science from Stanford University and a B.S. degree in chemistry from San Francisco State University.
