Associate Director, Center for Education Policy

Day in the Life @ SRI:
I may be meeting with colleagues, analyzing data, or writing reports. Other days I may be visiting a school in the inner city, observing classrooms and interviewing teachers, principals and superintendents.

Before SRI:
I was an education policy analyst for a small research firm in Washington, DC. Before that I was an elementary school principal and teacher.

Why SRI?
I truly enjoy the collaborative work environment. All projects are team projects.

Inspiration and Motivation:
I am primarily motivated by a desire for social justice and the opportunity to help guide education policy.

Away from the Office:
I spend time with friends and family, travel, golf, gardening.
