John Murray

John Murray, Ph.D., is a program director in the Computer Science Laboratory at SRI International. In this role, he focuses on the exploration of interactive collaborative systems, computer games and simulations, cognitive ergonomics, and human-machine systems. His current research activities encompass crowd-sourced software verification, multi-national digital gaming studies, and neurocognitive and physiological identifiers of trust and confidence.

He also has extensive experience in diagnostic modeling in complex networked systems, software architecture, smart product design, and educational technology.

Murray received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He received his M.S. from Stanford University, and a B.S. from Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland.
