Laura Pinkerton

Laura Pinkerton is a research analyst at SRI International's  Center for Technology in Learning.

Pinkerton’s research interests center on the use of technology to improve access to quality educational materials and opportunities for low-income and at-risk families. She has experience in project coordination, observational research, child assessment, and qualitative coding and analysis. She is currently involved in the evaluation of the Ready To Learn Initiative.

Before joining SRI, Pinkerton taught English in Japan, worked in Sacramento as an afterschool educator, and conducted longitudinal research on teacher induction programs across the country.
