Lynne Manrique
Lynne Manrique is associate director of the Economics Program in SRI International's Center for Science, Technology, and Economic Development. She has 20 years of experience conducting economic, industry, and policy research to support economic growth activities.
With experience in more than 20 countries and numerous U.S. states and regions, Ms. Manrique’s areas of expertise include strategy, design, management, and evaluation of economic and workforce development programs; institutional analysis, organizational development, and capacity building; and conceptualization and implementation of collaborative public-private sector initiatives, including regional positioning and promotion efforts.
Much of her recent work has been concentrated at the intersection of science, technology, and economic development. For example, she has desiged strategies, and defined roadmaps to align economic growth and industry positioning activities with broader national or regional R&D and innovation objectives.
Prior to joining SRI, Ms. Manrique worked in nonprofit, for-profit, and public settings for institutions such as the Council on Foundations, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, the International Women’s Forum Leadership Foundation, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. She received her B.A. in international relations from Stanford University; her Master of Public Affairs in economic development is from Princeton University.
