Focus @ SRI:
Helping to meet the needs of the Washington, D.C., Business Development (BD) team as well as members of other divisions in both the Washington and Menlo Park, California, offices

Day in the Life @ SRI:
Helping to facilitate administrative activities of staff members so that they are able to better focus on their projects

Before SRI:
Four years at the Department of Treasury and three years at a downtown Washington "think tank"

Why SRI?
I came to SRI a little over 20 years ago as a career change - I'm still here so apparently it was a good change!

Inspiration and Motivation:
The daily challenge of working with a dynamic team of senior business development professionals - as well as the other divisions housed in the Washington office - keeps you on your toes. Their hard work and dedication (and humor) make it worth the effort.

Away from the Office:
I'm working on my biking endurance (in a somewhat haphazard attempt to keep up with my husband!), reading, traveling (I'd like more of this!), and trying to hone my home improvement skills.

Languages:
Very rusty Russian!

Proudest Professional Accomplishment:
I have been provided a number of challenges in my career with SRI. These have included working on several complex and successful proposal wins (the Rosettex/National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency effort comes immediately to mind!) and the multifaceted move from our old offices to our new offices. I am now being afforded the opportunity to work with the team to help stand up the new SRI-Shenandoah Valley office in Virginia.
