Meet . . .Karen Myers
Focus @ SRI:
My research interests lie generally in the area of artificial intelligence planning and control systems. I'm particularly interested in developing frameworks that enable people to interact with such systems in a manner that is natural and intuitive.

A mixture of setting technical directions for projects, client interactions and system building.
Before SRI:
Came straight from graduate school.

Why SRI?
SRI has been a leader in artificial intelligence since the field began. It's great to be in an environment where you can collaborate with such outstanding colleagues.
Inspiration/Perspiration: (what motivates you, what irritates you)
I want to build technology that's innovative, exciting and will make a difference in the world. But there's a lack of time to accomplish all that I want to do.
Away from the Office:
Golf, cycling, piano, decorating my new house.
Languages:
English, French ... a little Japanese
Proudest Accomplishment:
2-handicap golfer in high school.
