Rajeev Vaidyanathan
Associate Director, Vector Biology and Zoonotic Diseases, Center for Infectious Disease and Biodefense Research
Rajeev Vaidyanathan is associate director of Vector Biology and Zoonotic Diseases in SRI Biosciences. In this role, he conducts research on novel compounds and modes of action for pest control, proteomic basis of vector-parasite-host interaction, and proteomic analysis of mosquito responses to arboviruses.
Vaidyanathan received a Ph.D. in parasitology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Hadassah Medical School, an M.S. degree in entomology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a B.S. degree in entomology from Cornell University.
