Robert Pearlstein

Robert Pearlstein is senior director of International Business Development at SRI International. In this role, he identifies opportunities with international commercial and government clients. He works to expand SRI’s presence globally by qualifying and building strategic partnerships. He also works with SRI’s business units to promote and develop new offerings internationally.

Pearlstein has more than 20 years of experience building and executing go-to-market strategies for start-ups and emerging domestic and international technology companies. He has extensive experience in international business development, the VC funding process, proposal development and contract negotiation. Prior to SRI, Pearlstein held senior management positions for a variety of venture companies in the Internet and telecommunications domain including Sylantro Systems Corporation, RingCentral, Inc., and MediaRing, Inc.

Pearlstein received his MBA from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management, and his B.A. from Queens College, the City University of New York. In addition, he completed the AEA Executive Management Program at Stanford University, and received a professional certificate in Network Management and Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He speaks English, Japanese, and Spanish.
