The
Engineering and Systems Division (ESD), SRI's largest group, comprises
a 600-member staff conducting research, development,
deployment, and support of technologies and systems
in the areas of ionospheric and space research,
radar and remote sensing, signal processing and
algorithm development, medical devices, robotic
systems, signals and electronic intelligence,
test and training systems, and wireless communications.
The work of the Division focuses on the relationship
of advanced systems to the complex environments
in which they must operate. The Division, with
$175M in annual revenue, also supports 15 remote
offices and operating locations.
