SRI Five Disciplines of Innovation™ Program

An SRI Innovation Partnership Program

How well can your organization answer these important questions?

  • Is your revenue growing?
  • Can you beat the competition every time?
  • Do your products meet client and market needs?
  • What is your time-to-market for new products?
  • Does your organization have a systematic innovation process that works?

Revenue growth is a key requirement for organizations to survive in today’s economy. Organizations can grow either through merger or acquisition (M&A) or through New Product Development (NPD). M&A swiftly acquires market position or technology capability and rapidly increases revenue, but creates integration issues. It has been shown that time-to-market for new products post-M&A increases by between 30% to 50%. Thus, rapid and efficient NPD and innovation is required to stay ahead of fast-moving trends and thrive in the face of growing economic and competitive pressures.

Organizations have asked SRI to show them how they can surmount these challenges. In response, we offer the Discipline of Innovation program -- an experience that will transform how you think about your business and customers, and how they think about you.

The program is held at SRI in the heart of Silicon Valley. Based on SRI's disciplined approach to innovation, it is designed to give you the techniques you need to maximize the return on your R&D investment and create compelling value for your customers and your organization.

Three levels of programs are available to meet your new product development needs. All include a preliminary discussion with SRI personnel to ensure that the program is specifically designed to benefit your organization.

Deliverables include an NABC Value Proposition for your projects. Gold and Platinum level projects include an Innovation Plan that builds on the NABC analysis and includes factors critical to the successful launch of your new product or venture. Gold and Platinum also include an Innovate Assist program so that you can have ongoing access to SRI’s technical and business domain expertise as well as a one-year license to Value Factor Analysis™ software and Collaborative Innovation™ software.
