SPEEDCOM Wireless Corporation and SRI International to Form Technology Partnership
Menlo Park, CA & Atlanta, GA (September 28, 2000) - SPEEDCOM® Wireless Corporation (OTCBB:SPWC), a newly-public, multi-national
wireless solutions company and SRI International, a leading independent technology innovator, announced today that they have signed a letter of intent to form a wireless technology partnership. Within the fixed wireless infrastructure market, SPEEDCOM® gains exclusive rights to PacketHop, a revolutionary, patent-pending technology that will dramatically expand the scalability and functionality of SPEEDCOM's broadband wireless products.
The partnership will be formally announced today during a webcast press conference at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, during the Networld+Interop technology trade show. The press conference will be viewable starting October 1 at www.vcall.com. During the press conference, SPEEDCOM will also discuss their September 26th merger with LTI Holdings, Inc., their new public status, and future marketing plans as a public company.
