SRI International President and CEO Curtis R. Carlson to Deliver Keynote at the Churchill Club’s “Igniting Innovation” Event

Carlson, Ph.D., president and CEO of SRI International, will speak on Friday, September 16 at the Churchill Club’s finale event celebrating its 25th anniversary. The event, “Igniting Innovation and Mastering Change,” will take place at the Santa Clara Hyatt & Convention Center.

Business and technology leaders will gather to advance a conversation on leadership and innovation. The discussions will focus on three segments relevant to innovation and growth:

  1. Here: Innovation in Silicon Valley
  2. There: Innovation in America and Around the World
  3. Then: Inventing the Future

Dr. Carlson will lead the segment on innovation in America and around the world, delivering a 1 pm keynote titled “An Abundance of Opportunities, a Scarcity of Innovation.”

Following his talk, Dr. Carlson will moderate a 1:45 pm roundtable discussion, “Mastering the Global Innovation Economy.” Roundtable participants will include:

  • Russ Conser, Head of Game Changer Program, Shell
  • Vivek Wadhwa, Visiting Scholar, UC Berkeley, and columnist for Washington Post and BusinessWeek
  • Eric Young, Co-founder and General Partner, Canaan Partners
