The Ventures and Strategic Business Development team, under his leadership, is a key factor in furthering SRI's mission of value creation through discovery and technological advancement and innovation."

Dr. Winarsky received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Chicago in 1969, 1970, and 1974, respectively, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. In the last four years he was also a founder of five of Sarnoff's more than 20 spin-offs.
