Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute Collaborates with SRI International to Foster Innovation in Taiwan
SAN JOSE, California, April 27, 2006 -- Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), a nonprofit research and development organization engaged in applied research and technical service, today held an innovation forum with SRI International to discuss the importance of fostering technological innovation. The event was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Milpitas, California.
Dr. Johnsee Lee, President of ITRI, and Dr. Leonard Polizzotto, Vice President, Business Development and Marketing at SRI International, led a forum titled, "Innovation and Collaboration Across the Pacific." Dr. Lee focused on the unique benefits Taiwan offers to Silicon Valley businesses seeking a presence in Asia. Dr. Polizzotto provided examples of innovation best practices. The event served to educate and engage local business leaders on the expertise that ITRI and SRI International offer.
