NLTS2 Info and Reports
This page contains links to NLTS2 documents that can be downloaded or viewed within browsers. These documents include brochures and reports that provide information about facets of the design, including the sample design, study timeline, and instrumentation.
The documents are available in HTML for on-line reading and PDF format for downloading. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read the PDF format and is available free from Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html#reader). The table below lists both currently available and upcoming reports, with their availability, formats, and brief descriptions. Readers may select the title or the "html" links to view the documents in Web browsers. Readers who wish to download the documents for viewing or printing should select the "pdf" links. These documents have been converted from word processors, and different on-screen results occur, depending on the type and version of browser you are using. If you are having difficulty with the screen display, try a different browser, or use the PDF format. In general, the PDF files produce faithful copies of the original work.

| NLTS2 Conceptual Framework and Research Questions | Now | html, pdf | The NLTS2 conceptual framework and research questions allow analyses of the relationships between NLTS2 data and data generated by OSEP's Special Education Elementary Longitudinal Study (SEELS). The design of NLTS2 also reflects a careful alignment with the first National Longitudinal Transition Study (NLTS). By including many of the same research questions and data items that appeared in NLTS, the new study will provide important information about the ways in which secondary education and results and postschool experiences have changed for youth with disabilities in the previous decade or more. This document lists the questions the study will seek to answer. |
