We wish to thank the more than 9,000 of your parents and guardians who have taken the time to be interviewed or to fill out a family survey. We appreciate their efforts greatly.

We have completed our data collection activities for the 2001-2002 school year. We sent out survey questionnaires to your teachers to fill out. Students ages 16 to 18 participated in a face-to-face assessment that covers academics and social attitudes. A small thank-you gift certificate was given to each student who participated.

We will begin youth interviews in the spring 2003.

This page will give you information from the study about issues and concerns of youth, including (but not limited to) youth in the study. NLTS2 findings will be a resource for youth seeking information about initial employment, adult services, college, and living independently.
