Neuroscience Program

NeurosciencesSRI’s Neuroscience Program is dedicated to conducting comprehensive research on brain structure and function using innovative magnetic resonance (MR) imaging technology. Our staff includes investigators, research scientists, postdoctoral scholars and research analysts with multifaceted neuroscience backgrounds including neuropsychiatry, clinical psychology, MR physics, and computer science. As a team, we develop novel imaging protocols, elucidate the roles of specific brain regions in disease pathways and utilize rodent models in comparative MR-based research.

Our work is performed in collaboration with investigators at Stanford University, MIT, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, GE Applied Science Lab - West, Indiana University and Scripps Research Institute at the University of California, San Diego. We depend on members of the surrounding community to volunteer for our research studies, and we highly value their participation.

With the help of our study volunteers and dedication of our staff, we look forward to continuing SRI’s tradition of excellence in MR-based research.
