Innovation Systems

Innovation—the creation and delivery of new customer value in the marketplace—is vital to long-term economic development and growth. A region's capacity for innovation depends on an effective and synergistic ecosystem with many elements, including skilled people, R&D, financing, a favorable policy environment, and more.

Through analyses of clients' innovation capacity relative to that of their competitors, SRI's Center for Science, Technology, and Economic Development develops strategies to address identified gaps and build on strengths.
