Abstract

The use of digital images recorded by imaging systems has become very widespread in recent years. These systems are capable of being remotely pointed and provide convergent and variable geometry stereopairs. It is essential that photogrammetrists be able to fuse the stereomodels provided by these systems. In this research stereomodel acquisition geometry is analyzed, the relationship between stereomodel geometric parameters and stereoscopic fusion is established, and a criterion for collection of fusible models is tested.
