Abstract
Letter to Dr. Pollock, Office of Navy Research: a Proposal for Research to survey the field of artificial intelligence. The end product of the proposed research would be a report in which the major techniques and subject matter of artificial intelligence are presented and explained in a coherent and logical manner.
