Senior Project Leader, Center for Innovation Strategy and Policy
Christina Freyman, Ph.D., has extensive experience in the areas of science and technology policy research and analysis, program evaluation and complex program management. She is the project leader for SRI’s master task-ordering contract with the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, which consists of 27 projects that provide research and analysis on a wide variety of topics.
Freyman is the co-author of the National Science Board’s 2014 and 2016 State Science and Technology Indicators, which present 58-plus indicators on state-level science and engineering topics. She has conducted mixed methods evaluations of government-sponsored R&D with quantitative economic analyses and program evaluation tools—including statistical and correlation analyses, multivariate regression, survey design, implementation and analysis, machine learning-based text analysis and bibliometric analyses.
Freyman has a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Northwestern University and a M.P.P. with an emphasis in quantitative analysis and program evaluation from the University of Chicago.
