Judith Fusco Kledzik

Research Social Scientist, Center for Technology in Learning

Judi Fusco is a research social scientist at SRI International’s Center for Technology in Learning. She primarily studies and develops online communities for education professionals. In her research, she focuses on examining the social and technical supports necessary to support learning in community, investigating and creating new models for online professional development, and adapting social network analysis techniques for use on quantitative data gathered in online systems to better understand interactions in communities. From 1997 – 2013, she was director for online community development in one of the first online communities for teachers on the web, Tapped In. In that capacity, over the 16 years, she worked with scores of organizations helping them implement ways of working online to accomplish their goals. Prior to joining CTL, she worked at Apple, Inc. and helped research and develop the online community Convomania for kids who were sick or had a disability.
