Interaction and Visual Designer, Center for Technology in Learning

Kate Borelli is an interaction and visual designer for SRI International's Center for Technology in Learning. Kate has more than ten years of experience designing for a variety of creative projects including websites, microsites, infographics, computer-based assessments, interactive curriculum, manuscripts, journal articles, technical papers, briefs, logos, icons, illustrations, and more. Kate also works across departments with various stakeholders to produce the CTL newsletter Research Update and the SRI Education Notes newsletter

Kate's background includes technical writing, marketing writing; branding; public relations; and advertising. She has produced and/or written marketing collateral including catalogs, flyers, magazine and newspaper ads, signage, press releases, e-mail blasts, and web copy. She performs a wide variety of professional activities in the design, creation, and production of written and visual publication and presentation materials in support of Center staff.

Kate has a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Certificate in Technical Writing and Communication from San Jose State University.
