Katrina L Martin
Early Childhood TA Specialist, Center for Learning and Development
Katrina Martin, Ph.D., works with the Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems (DaSy) and the Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTA) providing states with technical assistance to support their early childhood systems. Martin works with state leadership teams to develop infrastructure and data systems and improve professional development on topics related to child outcomes and inclusion of children with disabilities. In her previous work, Martin was involved in research on early identification and intervention for children with and at risk for autism spectrum disorders.
Martin’s expertise is in early childhood special education, differentiated instruction in inclusive classrooms, autism spectrum disorders, and typical and atypical social and emotional development.
Martin received her Ph.D. in education from the University of California, Berkeley and completed postdoctoral research in neurodevelopmental disorders at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
