Lois Lazar is assisting the co-directors in managing all aspects of the Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems (DaSy). She oversees and manages the project budget, subcontracts, and consulting agreements; coordinates the day-to-day support operations; and leads continuous improvement in overall project management and team effectiveness.
Prior to joining SRI, Lazar held a variety of management positions at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies, including division controller and business development manager. Lazar led global mergers and acquisitions teams in evaluating and executing more than $300 million in acquisitions and equity investments, and introduced a diversification funding model to a $100 million organization to evaluate and incubate new business opportunities. Lazar also has experience in strategic partner management, leading cross functional teams, business process improvement, software licensing and procurement, contract negotiations, acquisition value capture and integration, and sales. Throughout her career, she has leveraged her expertise in project management and program leadership to influence top-line growth and profitability.
Lazar received an MBA in marketing and finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
