Rebecca L. Goetz
Research Data Coordinator
Rebecca Goetz specializes in data management and analysis, including STATA programming to collect, clean, report, and analyze data; database system development; and project management.
Currently, Goetz is the data manager for the New Teacher Center i3 Scale-Up project, designing and maintaining a large-scale database system to track, validate, summarize, and report district-, school-, and teacher-level data. She also is a research analyst for the evaluation of the Pathway to Academic Success Program, conducting data validation and descriptive analyses for student-level extant data across seven school districts. She also supports other projects as needed in data cleaning and data visualization.
Before joining SRI, Goetz was a business analyst for Common Securitization Solutions, where she wrote requirements for and planned development of a new platform to streamline the issuance and administration of mortgage-backed securities. She also has worked as a research assistant in the Office of the President at Johns Hopkins University, drafting memos and literature reviews to support the university president’s work.
Goetz earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies and economics from Johns Hopkins University.
