Tanuja Bordia, Ph.D. received her doctorate in toxicology from the University of Rajasthan, India. She completed her postdoctoral studies at the Parkinson’s Institute in Sunnyvale, California, where she was subsequently promoted to staff scientist. Bordia then moved to SRI.
Bordia works on several projects to research nicotine-mediated effects in different Parkinson’s disease model and L-dopa-induced dyskinesias, with particular emphasis on changes in nicotinic receptors.
Bordia has authored or co-authored more than 19 scientific manuscripts.
