Research Analyst, Center for Education Policy
Tiffany Hsieh is a research analyst in SRI International’s Center for Education Policy. She works on projects related to teacher evaluation, teacher development, K–12 education reform, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). In her role, she conducts background research, collects and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, manages relationships with partner districts and organizations, and contributes to written reports for clients.
Her current projects include the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Massachusetts Educator Evaluation Framework, the Evaluation of the Sustainability and Effectiveness of AP Science Courses, and several Investing in Innovation (i3) evaluations including evaluations of the New Teacher Center, the College-Ready Writers Program, and the evaluation of Education Connections.
Before joining SRI, Hsieh worked as a Leadership for Educational Equity Policy and Advocacy fellow at the Center for American Progress, where she conducted research on district productivity issues. She also taught special education at a middle school in Colorado Springs as a Teach for America corps member. Prior to entering the field of education, Hsieh worked at Africare, a nonprofit organization addressing African development through sustainable community-based projects.
Hsieh holds a B.A. in political science with a minor in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
