Postdoctoral Fellow, Human Sleep Research Program
Elisabet Alzueta, Ph.D., joined SRI International in 2020 as a post-doctoral fellow, principally working on the study about The Effect of Sex Hormones on Sleep-related Memory Consolidation in Women.
Alzueta has a background in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology. Her research has been focused on brain oscillation using EEG, and how certain cognitive processes, such as perception and attention, interact during self-perception. She also has worked on research projects measuring cognitive impairment in clinical populations.
Alzueta obtained a MSc in Psychology from Universidad de Granada, Spain in 2011, a Masters in Neuroscience from Universidad de Granada, Spain, 2013 and a PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology – Cognitive Neuroscience from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Spain in 2019.
