Mr. Benskin has more than 15 years of experience in research and analysis on a wide variety of public policy topics. He has worked in a variety of roles for government, academic, and commercial clients in the United States and abroad, including the National Science Foundation’s National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES), the Prime Minister’s Office of the United Arab Emirates, the Korean Ministry of Science, Information and Communications Technology and Future Planning, and Imam University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Benskin has contributed in a variety of roles to recent editions of the National Science Board’s Science and Engineering indicators reports and supports NCSES’ Statistics and Methods Program in its taxonomic work. Mr. Benskin has contributed to the United Arab Emirates’ Edge of Government Innovation Showcase 2016 World Government Summit, worked on the Study of Foreign Researchers in Korean Universities and Government Research Institutes: Status and Policy Issues, and co-authored action plans for the College of Economics & Administrative Sciences, Development of University Education, and Knowledge Exchange & International Communication for the Strategic Plan for Imam University, Riyadh. He has extensive experience in survey design and administration, preparation of case studies on economic indicators, analytical work supporting publications, and organization of workshops. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Composition from the Catholic University of America.
