Research Associate, SRI Education
Julia Yankelowitz supports a variety of research, evaluation, development, and dissemination projects. Her responsibilities include project management, survey administration, literature scans, and coordination with external stakeholders. Currently, Yankelowitz is supporting projects related to career and technical education, high school graduation, deeper learning, and teacher training.
Yankelowitz earned her BA in sociology with a minor in education at Bates College. As a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, Yankelowitz taught English as a second language (ESL) in various provinces across Uruguay. Her research interests lie at the intersection between special education and multilingual learners with a focus on language-based learning disabilities and literacy.
