Mahesh Nandwana

Research Engineer, Speech Technology and Research Laboratory

Mahesh Nandwana is a research engineer in SRI International’s Speech Technology and Research (STAR) Laboratory. His research interests include machine learning and signal processing for speaker and language identification, speech activity detection, acoustic event detection.

Prior to joining SRI, Nandwana worked as research assistant at Center for Robust Speech Systems, UT Dallas. Earlier, he was a project associate at Speech Research Group, IIT Madras.  

Nandwana has published papers in the area of speech and language technology, which can be viewed on Google Scholar. He earned an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from University of Texas, Dallas, and holds a B.Tech (Hons.) in electrical and electronics engineering from NIT Jamshedpur, INDIA.
