Regional Educational Laboratory—Appalachia
REL Appalachia works in partnership with school districts, state departments of education, and other education stakeholders in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia to develop high-quality research and to use and disseminate research findings to improve student outcomes.
Regional Educational Laboratory Appalachia (REL AP) works in partnership with educators in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia to bridge the worlds of education research and education practice. REL AP offers various supports to the collaborative research partnerships and other stakeholder groups in the Appalachian region to address the priorities and interests of these states:
- Applied research studies that address partnerships’ research questions.
- Training, coaching, and technical support such as workshops and coaching that support the use of data and research.
- Dissemination and Events that support the understanding and reach of existing research.
- Ask A REL annotated bibliographies produced in response to stakeholder research questions.
