John Bradburn

Executive Director, Federal Programs

John Bradburn supports program initiatives involving the USAF and SOCOM customers.  He is responsible for program capture of security and surveillance programs involving intelligence data from space, airborne, and ground based sensors. His business acumen has demonstrated the ability to foresee, advise, and react to changes within competitive acquisition environments leveraging SRI technologies. Focus areas include Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and payloads, Base Force Protection, GEOINT, and next-generation Range Test and Evaluation initiatives. Programs have included Digital Video Laboratory, BETSS-C, PGSS, and technology advancement for numerous airborne programs.

Bradburn also served as a U.S. delegate and participating member of the NATO Industry Advisory Group that focused on new technologies for target acquisition of terrorists.

Previously, Bradburn served 18 years in Northrop Grumman’s Advanced Systems and Technology Development group. There he was responsible for coordination of business development related to internal research and development activities. He also managed specialized programs involving rapid prototyping.

Bradburn was a key participant in the development and fielding of a precise geopositioning technology system of record that supported the targeting of precision guided weapons for the U.S. DoD and coalition partners. He also participated in development programs supporting the B2, EA-6B, Global Hawk, JDAM, WCMD, and JASSM weapon systems.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Bradburn worked as an electronics engineer for the U.S. Navy, developing data acquisition and graphics display systems supporting 3-D radar cross-section measurements of airborne platforms.
