Field-ready technologies

SRI works with the Department of Defense, NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy, and commercial clients to bring integrated systems and solutions to market. Backed by a rigorous systems-engineering approach, we develop and manufacture field-ready products in months rather than years.

SRI supports the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in the emulation and manufacture of obsolete microcircuits to extend the lifetime of mission-critical systems. Our Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) and Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) programs have been solving microcircuit obsolescence for over three decades.

For more than 60 years, SRI has innovated, developed, and delivered next-generation imaging capabilities and systems for commercial, defense, space, and scientific applications. Today, the Center for Advanced Imaging is pioneering next-generation technologies that are changing the way we see and understand our world across the electro-optical spectrum.

Our work in intelligence systems ranges from project planning and engineering to installation and field support. As we lead the transition of next-generation hardware and real-time software platforms, each robust system we develop must deliver on government-force protection.

SRI’s mission solutions team works to protect thousands of military platforms and air crews by providing aircraft/ground survivability equipment and operational subject matter expertise. We develop and implement automated testing and improvements that enable quick reactions to an ever-changing threat environment.

Our proven proficiency in carbon capture systems is pushing this dynamic area of climate change solutions. Current SRI research and pilot programs are testing membranes for water purification, petroleum hydrocarbon recovery, and CO2 capture technologies.

Bright Ceramics is focused on developing, applying, and commercializing a unique technology platform based upon advanced materials. We develop and manufacture cutting-edge components and systems in our facility in Palo Alto, California.
