SRI announces John Crowe as President, Advanced Technology and Systems Division

SRI is pleased to welcome John Crowe as our new President, Advanced Technology and Systems Division (ATSD).

John joined SRI in 2010 and has served as acting President of ATSD since November 2019. As Lab Director, John built a portfolio of business that spans from low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) research to operational systems. He has built enduring relationships with a wide range of customers resulting in strong program growth from basic research to operational systems in radio frequency and optical domains. Additionally, he and his team have completed significant work developing and fielding highly specialized tactical and strategic RADAR exploitation capabilities for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community clients.

Prior to SRI, John was Senior Lead Scientist for General Dynamics Missions Systems (formerly Veridian and ERIM). He previously held Fellow positions at University of Michigan, Unisys Corporation, and Michigan Molecular Institute. John holds a Ph.D. E.E., signal processing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a B.S.E.E. from Wayne State University.
