Introduction

In this workshop, Dr. Yarnall presented a starting framework for integrating assessment of interpersonal and communication skills into workforce education. In this framework (see pages 50-54 of the publication), she talks about using evidence-centered design to identify and test some key design features of such assessments. Those design features included: (1) Provide ways for students to show their social reasoning based on real world scenarios and (2) foster self-reflection around the practice of such skills.
