Shay Moore is a Research Analyst at SRI’s Center for Innovation Strategy and Policy. She has experience working with the intersection of innovation, data, and government, with particular expertise in data visualization. During her tenure at SRI, Moore’s responsibilities have included the creation of captivating static and interactive data visualizations; collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative economic indicators; the development of actionable recommendations for local and state governments; facilitation of stakeholder meetings across sectors; and the maintenance of institutional, geographical, and occupational taxonomies for the National Center for Science and Engineering. Prior to joining SRI, she worked for a small consulting firm dedicated to developing mid-size companies’ supply chain footprint and processes by supporting data analysis and data cleaning efforts. Moore has a Master of Arts from Columbia University in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Howard University.
