Nikoletta Basiou

Post-Doctoral Fellow, Speech Technology and Research Laboratory

Nikoletta Basiou, Ph.D., has research interests in signal (audio/speech/image) processing, natural language processing, emotion recognition, and machine learning.

Prior to joining SRI, Basiou was a postoctoral researcher at Language Technologies Institute of Carnegie Mellon Univeristy (LTI-CMU) and at the Artificial Intelligence and Infomration Laboratory (AIIA) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She holds a Ph.D. in statistical language modeling and a B.Sc. degree in computer science from the School of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has published more than 15 peer-review journal, conference papers and book chapters in the fields of speech and language processing and pattern recognition. View publications on Google Scholar.
