Established in 1977 and relaunched in 2024, PARC Forum is SRI’s premier public event series, bringing together some of the world’s most interesting people (from Nobel Prize winners to best-selling authors) for conversations about how technology is advancing and why those innovations matter.
PARC Forums are inspired by the legacy of the Palo Alto Research Center (acquired by SRI in 2023), where tech luminaries like Alan Kay and Butler Lampson ignited the personal computing revolution, where Gary Starkweather developed the first laser printer, and where Bob Metcalfe invented Ethernet.
