In 2010, SRI began working with the U.S. Army’s Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate on digital lowlight sensing technology. Over the subsequent decade, that work matured into the DomiNite imager, a sensitive digital low-light imager designed to compete with the most advanced analog lowlight sensors while also taking advantage of next-generation digital workflows and AI integrations.
