Semiotics and the order of acquisition of deictics in L1 French: A corpus-based study
This study examined the acquisition of deixis in French children from the age of 18-32 months. Emphasis was put on the use of demonstrative pronouns, tense and aspect and the order of acquisition in respect to semiotic categories.

Radiosynthesis of a 125I Analog of a Highly Selective Alpha3beta4 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor Antagonist Ligand for Use in Autoradiography Studies
Our laboratory has discovered a series of very high affinity and highly selective ligands for the α3β4 nAChR subtype. We now report the synthesis of a radiolabeled 125I analog of N-(2-iodophenyl)-9-methyl-9-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-3-amine (AT-1012), a subnanomolar affinity, highly selective α3β4 nAChR ligand from this series.

The names we play: exploring MMOG players’ avatar naming conventions
Our hypothesis is that naming practices represent one primary (and underexplored) means through which players maintain continuity and a stable identity across their MMOG play. Here, we report on the avatar naming practices that we identified through both quantitative and qualitative analyses of this data set.

Characterizing disability in Head Start programs: Not so clearcut
This study used the Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey data to identify subgroups of children meeting three different criteria for having a disability or developmental delay.
-
Socio-semantic conversational information access
We develop an innovative approach to delivering relevant information using a combination of socio-semantic search and filtering approaches.

Atomic layer dielectric deposition for flexible organic transistors
We will discuss our low temperature (150C) Al2O3 growth process by plasma assisted-ALD compared to the thermal process on flexible plastic substrates.
-
Inkjet printed organic circuits for addressing non-volatile memory
At Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), organic complementary circuits have been demonstrated by inkjet printing.
