Senior Research Engineer, Ocean Modeling

Richard Leighton, Ph.D. has research interests in wave mechanics and oceanography, remote sensing, and computational fluid dynamics. He started his career at the Remote Sensing Division, Naval Research Laboratory, and he worked at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, later purchased by MDA-IS. He has published more the 15 papers and received his Ph.D. In Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
