Youssef Iguider
Vice President of Business Development & Japan Country Managing Director
Youssef Iguider is the vice president of business development and the representative country director of SRI International in Japan. He has over 30 years of experience in information technology and telecommunications with world-leading U.S. and Japanese companies. As the head of SRI’s Japan office, Iguider partners with cross-functional and cross-geography teams to identify, prioritize and develop key global partners and bring SRI innovations to the marketplace.
Iguider’s multidisciplinary background includes product marketing, field marketing, international business development, sales support, solutions sales, alliance relations, engineering, R&D and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining SRI in 2007, Iguider was a solutions sales director at Datacraft Japan, Inc. Earlier, he was a senior program manager and product marketing manager at Cisco Systems, and held various engineering roles at Panasonic group in Japan.
Iguider is the founder and first president of the Moroccan Business Club in Japan (MBCJ), a Council Leader of the U.S.-Japan Council (USJC), a board member of the Japan Center for Moroccan Studies (JCMS), a member of the Japan-Morocco Association (JMA) and a former vice president of the Moroccan Association of Researchers and Scholars (MARS). His Majesty, Mohammed VI, the King of Morocco personally decorated Youssef Iguider with the Royal Order of the Throne, in Tokyo in November 2005.
Iguider has a master’s degree in computer science from the Odessa State Polytechnic University and completed his doctoral program in computer science at the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo, Japan. He is fluent in Japanese, English, French, Russian and Arabic.
