Join some of the world’s leading experts in ocean health and sustainability from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, and SRI to explore the innovations that are helping protect one of our most important global ecosystems — our ocean.

SRI, in collaboration with the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, is pleased to host Julie Packard, marine biologist and executive director of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, who will talk about her life’s work in ocean conservation.

Following the keynote at this event, Rosa Tuirán, a producer for KQED’s Deep Look science and nature video series, will host a dynamic conversation with Packard, Fiorenza Micheli, chair of the Oceans Department at Stanford’s Doerr School of Sustainability and co-director of Stanford’s Center for Ocean Solutions, and Julie Bert, director of SRI’s Hardware Research and Technology Lab.

Join us after for networking and light refreshments. Watch this video to hear about Julie Packard’s passion and how her team is making a difference. This event is free and open to the public.
